Black and Tan Circles and Stripes Discharged Silk Georgette Scarf

140.00

Starting with a black rectangle of silk georgette, I folded the fabric using an itajime shibori method of resist then discharged the fabric until I ended up with the result you see here.

The discharge process resulted in an creme tone with hints of blue-grey and black circles and stripes.

One of my favorite things about using shibori techniques are the unexpected patterns that occur from resists. Each twist and tie makes a new unique pattern for you to wear and you can continue to explore how to wear the scarf for years!
