Stay warm this winter with this beautiful, wool scarf twisted around your neck or wrapped around your body.

Starting with a white rectangle of knitted wool gauze, I folded and clamped the fabric using the itajime shibori method of resist then dyed multiple times with different colors until I ended up with the result you see here.

One of my favorite things about using shibori techniques are the unexpected patterns that occur from resists. Each twist and tie makes a new unique pattern for you to wear and you can continue to explore how to wear the scarf for years!
