Grey and Maroon Itajime Dyed Scarf with Grey Pieced Bottom -Wool Pieced Scarf

Starting with wool I folded the fabric using an itajime shibori method of resist then dyed multiple times with different colors until I ended up with the result you see here.

One of my favorite things about using shibori techniques are the unexpected patterns that occur from resists. Each twist and tie makes a new unique pattern for you to wear and you can continue to explore how to wear the scarf for years!
