Red, Pink and Grey Itajime Circles Dark Grey Long Woven Wool Scarf

Starting with a white rectangle of wool, I folded the fabric using an itajime shibori method of resist then dyed multiple times with different colors until I ended up with the result you see here.

One of my favorite things about using shibori techniques are the unexpected patterns that occur from resists. Each twist and tie makes a new unique pattern for you to wear and you can continue to explore how to wear the scarf for years!

In the winter bright colors of the dye bring light to an otherwise dull day while the warmth of wool will keep the chill away.
